Every guest is guaranteed a lounger.
The hotel has three rooms with special access, fully equipped for guests with disabilities:
and also
All our accessible rooms are located so as to have the shortest route to all important food service facilities (e.g. hotel restaurant, hotel bar). When the hotel was built, particular emphasis was placed on guaranteeing and promoting social integration. The rooms are also close to the hotel reception and hospitality team, in order to provide personal support and assistance. The lift, accessible without any steps, is also located close to the disability-friendly rooms, granting guests quick and easy access to the underground passageway leading to the spa, sauna world and Vitality Centre.
Both floors of the spa and sauna facilities can be reached easily by lift. The blind and visually impaired will be looked after by Therme Geinberg staff, subject to demand and availability. Disabled changing rooms, disabled toilets, special seats in the showers and, above all, the permanently mounted hoist into the indoor thermal pool, allow guests with disabilities the greatest possible freedom of movement in the spa facilities as well as use of the indoor and outdoor pools (linked by a water channel). All the pools in the wonderful Water World are on ground level and are accessible without any restrictions. This means that over 3,000 m² of water are available to all our guests.
The spacious Sauna World, with 9 different sauna and steam rooms, is also popular with people with limited mobility. Generally speaking, all the sauna cabins can be accessed by wheelchair. If you don’t have your own carer, our pool and sauna staff will be happy to help you.
Just as all our other service facilities, both floors of the Vitality Centre are also easily accessible for wheelchair users, without steps, using various lifts etc. This applies to hotel guests as well as day guests.
Please note that disabled access at the Ried im Innkreis and Braunau am Inn stations cannot be guaranteed. The Geinberg stop also has only limited wheelchair access: disabled access is only possible if you select a low-floored train when planning your journey. Please note that when you are travelling here, you will need to change at an interchange such as Wels Central station or Linz Central station.
